What is the adoption process?
Our adoption process begins with a phone interview. If both parties decide it is a good fit, then we provide further instructions at that time.
What is the deposit?
A deposit is required to secure your reservation. It covers a portion of the cost of the puppy and the remainder of the cost is due at pickup. The deposit is non-refundable if you decide not to adopt.
What care and training is provided before the puppy goes home?
We provide comprehensive care during the first few weeks which includes daily handling and care for the dam. After 4 weeks, the puppies are moved from the whelping box to an area where they can begin dog door and potty training. They are also introduced to puppy food at 3-4 weeks. During this time, they are introduced to the other dogs in our program and continue to spend supervised time with mom up until 6 weeks when they are fully weaned.
Are the puppies vaccinated?
Yes, all of our puppies are vaccinated at 6 weeks and dewormed at 2 week intervals prior to their exam. We follow strict health protocols and provide proof of vaccination with each puppy to ensure they are ready for their new home and future vet visits. Each pup is examined and vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian at 6 weeks old.
